The project is financed from the European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument in the framework of the crossborder cooperation programme for the Mediterranean Sea Basin under the 1st call for standard projects launched in 2009.
PV1 systems: photovoltaic water pumping systems without batteries (11 systems)
PV2 systems: photovoltaic water pumping systems with battery storage (5 systems)
In total, 16 PV-pumping systems will be installed at 15 different locations in the Jordan valley.
